For the first time since this academic year, all students of the University of Pisa, even if they are not students of Sant'Anna and Normale, have the opportunity to take internal courses of the two Schools (Sant'Anna and Normale) of Pisa, and earn the corresponding credits. Thanks to two new agreements, the Pisa University System is thus consolidated and the collaboration between the three city's universities becomes stronger to ensure greater reciprocity of services in teaching.

Admission to the educational activities of the Sant’Anna School and the Scuola Normale Superiore was made possible thanks to two agreements approved by the Academic Senates and Boards of Governors of the three academic institutions, animated by the intention of enriching the educational path of girls and boys who come to study in Pisa, also with a view to future start-up for research.

To apply and take classes in the second semester at Sant'Anna, the deadline is February 20, and in the meantime, students in Master of Science Degree courses or single-cycle master's programs from the fourth year onward can apply. The subjects are Economics and Management, Law, Political Science, Medicine, Industrial and Information Engineering, and Agricultural Science and Plant Biotechnology. This option is already offered by the Scuola Normale Superiore. There were 80 students for the Humanities Class and 200 for the Science Class enrolled at the University of Pisa who attended classes at the Scuola Normale Superiore for the first semester of this year.

Honours students of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and the Scuola Normale Superiore, as students of the University of Pisa, have always had an educational obligation to attend classes at the University, along with internal courses. From now on, students of the University of Pisa, even if they are not students of the two Schools, will have one more chance to attend courses at Sant'Anna and Normale.
